Hiawassee Campgrounds for Tent Camping

We are primarily tent campers because we do not own an RV. We have had the opportunity to borrow an RV but we quickly found out how inexperienced we were with parking, leveling, and [emptying] an RV, so we might just stick to our tents for now! Here are some the campgrounds in Hiawassee that offer tent camping sites:

GA Mountain Campgrounds

The Georgia Mountain Campgrounds are located within the Fairgrounds in Hiawassee. They offer a range of sites in two different areas. Tent sites start at $27/night for inland campsites. Lakeview sites are more expensive.
